I have 2 males and 4 females of demasoni I have had them for over a year with no problem. they are always breeding. I have them in a 55 with 6 yellow labs 8 L trewevase and 8 pseudo. hojomaylandi. They get along and have no problems. You will be fine with 6 but dont go any lower then that

In the near future i'll be setting up a 90 gallon and wanted to know if 6 demasoni, 6 lab hongi, 6 acei, and 4 peacocks would work. I'm looking to breed these fish and have heard the dems have to be in groups of like 12.
Would these 6 be ok or would the dom. male kill the rest off?
