Just wondering if the fry are just exploring or if theres a problem

Today the 5 day old fry decided to all gather at the top corner of the tank and stick their heads out of the water. Im wondering if they are looking for air or something. The tank does not have an air stone and the small aqua clear filter agitates the surface slightly

are they just exploring?

all the parameters are fine did a water change just yesterday too

Well, I've got 42 demasoni fry and they all generally stay in the lower half of the tank. Fish at the top with their mouths to the surface (or sticking their heads out) suggest to me that they are not getting enough oxygen. Or maybe there is something they are afraid of towards the bottom of the tank? Do they have the tank all to themselves? Maybe someone else has an idea...

Thats what my demasnoi do when I get close to the tank - thye think they are going to get fed. After I walk away and come back thye are aall over, but once the see me they come back up to the top
