So I have decided to put my piranhas up for sale and move into cichlids.
I have been doing a little homework and I think I have figured out what I would like and what would work in my 55 gallon.

Filtration is not a Problem as I am running a Fluval 305 and an AC 110, both fully cycled and my RBP's are still in that tank until they get sold.

I also plan on switching my regular gravel to black aragamite, to help buffer my PH

For livestock I am thinking Yellow labs, Flamebacks, and Acei. I think these will work well together from everything I have read and I understand the need for the male to female ratio. I just am unsure of the exact number of each species I should purchase. Any Suggestions?

1m:4f should work. Might want to confirm in the Victorian forum on the flameback ratio.
