I have a male who is showing off for a female day in and day out. They problem comes in to were the female is just ignoring the male. Is there any way were I could help these two mate? Is there any tricks of the trade? They are both about 2".

First, they sound young... at 2 inches they've got a ways to go. Second, these fish are best in large schools (they don't form pairs), and the singleton female may be too harassed by the male. Get more of them if you can to spread out the male's attention.

Well i have some on order and they should be in this coming Sunday. Couldn't get some for awhile now due to none available. But i came home today and who would of guest. It seems as she is holding. Doesn't seem like a large batch but this is her first attempt. Looks like she is tumbling. I am going to wait and see a couple days and then put her in a 20 gallon by her self.

I wouldnt bother moving her - she is more likely to spit or swallow the eggs. Just leave her in there for 21-25 days, and then strip her, and put the wee ones into a 5 gallon.
