Has anyone ever put any of these in their aquariums? Do they sink? I see them for sale on the auction sites from time to time.

Never tried them but for my use I would think I needed them to stand upright. That means screwing slate tile to the bottom. Not hard to do even with limited tools. If you get a flakey piece of slate from the flooring scetion you can work a hole through it with just about any metal tool like a hammer and nail. Slow and steady, no rough stuff so that the slate splits!

Okay I can get them to sink then. I was thinking about using them in a Cichlid tank instead of the usual rocks and such.

Hmm curious. Is that legal even? They are an endangered species here in FL and you arent allowed to cut them.

I would love to see a tank with them in it. The would make a cool SA tank in a wide tank with lots of knees as columns.
