I've been keeping them for a little over a year now. They are probably my favorite of the C. afra species.

Don't know exactly what you're looking for in terms of your question but what you mention about aggression is fairly accurate. The only aggressive behavior I've ever observed was conspecific but now that I have a 1m:3f group there aren't any problems. They can, however, hold their own when it comes to a fight. I just got a couple 4.5" Pseudotropheus sp. "Elongatus Chailosi" and put them in with my C. afra "Nkhata Bay" - the Ps. sp. "Elongatus Chailosi" was trying to pick a fight with my NB. My NB held his position and ended up keeping his cave - and he's a whopping 3" long. The Elongatus dwarfs him.
