I have a ruby red that has been swimming nose up for a long time. I moved him into a 10g and started using metro almost every day on 10/27 as well as switched his food to (almost) only a veggie flake. I've also dosed epsom salts multiple and a round of prazipro My caregiver (I'm quadriplegic) noticed some whiteness around his stomach a while back and today we took him out to try to take a picture. She did drop him and I think that and struggling while she was trying to take a picture is what caused the redness. I'm not sure if it was actually blood or some of his intestine popping out. Decided this has gone on too long to not ask for help, all my other fish that have ever had bloat or similar problems recovered much much faster.

Sorry picture isn't better (you all know how it is) Thanks.

Is the fish eating?
That redness is definitely of concern. Is that condition still evident? I've dropped fish before, but never had something like that occur.
Where did you move the fish from?
