Hello Everyone,

I know that mbuna don't usually do well in small tanks, and my 29 gallon would be considered small, but i have found some P. Elongastus "usisya" on a local forum and was wondering if i could have a group of around 6ish them in my 29 gallon. Also if anyone had any information on them, because after googling them, i came up with pretty much as the profiles on here provide.

thanks, pumh

They are pretty aggressive for a 30" tank. What would your plan be if it didn't work?

I would say no, I've kept them in a 4' 55g and they used it all. Males are fairly aggressive towards females and with that size tank you aren't going to be able to house enough females, nor will it be able to provide enough cover for the ones you can fit.
