Does anyone have the 48 inch Coralife Lunar Aqualight HO T5 Aquarium Light Fixture? If so how many LED moonlights does it have?
I have been searching online with the sponsors and most show a picture with 2 LED's. I contacted Coralife and was told it was only made with 4 LED's but then talked to two different customer service reps from one of the sponsors who insist it only has 2 LED's no matter what the size :roll: :-?
I don't want to go through the pain of ordering one and trying to return it if it shows up with only 2 LED's!!
Anybody know anything about this?

I just checked it out:

Coralife initially made these with 2 LED's, but have since updated the design to have 4. It is a matter of whether your LFS has old stock or not.

Fair enough, thanks for the correction. May I suggest a mass emailing to web based suppliers out there to inform them of this because the majority of them have an image of a 2-LED version, most likely one of the 36" or smaller models. They probably didn't bother reading the box to note that the 48" is the only one with 4, nor do they notice the difference in the T5 bulb configuration.

When compared to the proper image, this one is clearly not 48".

There is definitely some confusion amongst retailers about the difference between the 48" model and the others. Perhaps it's lazy webmasters who can't be bothered to upload a proper photo?

Funny GTZ. Sorry can't help you there.

Alpha7. We are taking care of it. The images websites use are pulled from the Coralife web site and often there are only one or two they take. In this case the only image that showed the LED's was a 24" model.

Sometimes the specifications are not documented properly by the retailer and the sales reps don't know any better. This seems to be the case here.
