Mature males of this species are quite similar in appearance to C. sp. "Verduyni Blueface". Females do not have spots on their flanks; however, juveniles do. Females belonging to C. sp. "Kawanga" and C. sp. "Verduyni Blueface" exhibit three spots on their flanks. Territorial males build cave craters, using a large, overhanging rock. This rock thus forms a protective wall on one side and a ceiling over the nest. |
