Haven't posted in a while. These guys surprised me. I was just consolidating fish from their tanks into this 50gal breeder on the system to open up tank space. Came in one morning to a cloud of fry and the FM/Con protecting. I didn't really notice them courting, but the FM is one mean mama (she is the female) and the con is the aggressive male of the bunch.

They're cool looking, but I have no interest in keeping them. From a responsible fishkeeping standpoint, should I cull them all or see if anyone wants them?

They're going on 4 weeks now and growing like crazy. They're pushing 3/4 of an inch already~ I've never had such a successful batch of fry either. Theres got to be close to 300 fry in there. You can't see half of them in the video below.

gotta love the music with that vid  .It's really up to you whether or not you cull them. If it were me I would , but only because I wouldn't want to be overrun with fish I couldn't feel right about giving to others. Just my oppinion. If you give them away be sure that those that get them know they are hybrids.
