i just got a few small convicts they are very young im thinking a few months

and i wanted to know what is the growth rate of these guys

It'll really depend on water quality, diet, and water temperature. But they are fairly fast growing.

Unless they start to spawn, then the growth rate slows dramaticly. Without spawning a con should reach average full length in just under a year.

I have some cons with other fish and the male grew 3 times as fast as the other... So I would say they grow about 1/4-1/2" per month depending on water quality of course.

Maybe half inch per month if your lucky

Slow down at about four inches (or stop completely if it's a female).
