I know this question has been asked before but what are the consequences of comps and calvus together?

In most cases, they will treat each other as a single species, with males being quite aggressive to each other, and the dominant one likely spawning with all the females. (hybridization)

Well,,,I have kept these two in a 55 gallon tank for years. Calvus AND Comps. :thumb:

IMO,,,it depends on whether or not your into breeding. If so,,,I would suggest that you have MANY Conch Shells (enough for each female). I have had success with these and will tell you it can be done. ALSO,,,,caves and crevises are a must,,,with an aquascaping that "devides" the tank. (like you have two set-ups in one. Make sense????)
