I currently have a 29 gallon tank with 3 otos, 6 small tetras, 3 volcano rasboras, 1 bristlenose, 1 red hump geo and 1 salvini. As far as space goes I'm sure I have enough room. Now I know that I will soon have to upgrade to a 55 when the Geo and Salvini get bigger. I just want to know if these two fish (the geo and salvini) are compatible. The Geo is about 2.5-3 inches and the Salvini is slightly smaller at 1.5-2 inches. The geo has been chasing the salvini around the tank and nipping his fin a bit. I dont want this to stress the Salvini too much. Its a bit hard to feed the Salvini too b/c the Geo steals his food. What a jerk! I know hes full. Lol. Any help would be appreciated.

I think in a 55 gal the Geo and the Salvini will get along ok. Don't worry about the Salvini getting picked on unless its a relentless chase and the Salvini doesn't have any time to relax. Pretty soon the Salvini will not take **** from the Geo any longer and will take his rightful place as "King". It's just that the Salvini is still young and doesn't have his aggression all the way yet. Just give him time. When he reaches 2 in it will be the other way around. Salvini hold their own VERY well! And will not take **** from anyone!

 That sounds awesome. About how long do you think they can take it in that 29?

The sooner the better. Why are you waiting?
Areed! Don't wait until it comes to were you absolutely need the 55 gal because you have to remember things can still happen! Also the 55 gal needs time to properly cycle so if you wait until the last minute that might just be last minute too late!
