depends on the size of the tank.

Also, they both have bars. They might not tolerate each other because of that. Remember that fish don't really see like we do, stripey + similar shape = competition (which must be eliminated), nevermind that one is yellow and one is blue.

Both of these species are aggressive...so if you want success with them, I'd give many more females (like 8) and give them a huge tank (125g+ or 5 ft tank). Make lots of hiding places, divide the tank in half (one pile of rocks on each end that do not touch). I'm not sure how the stripes will make them interact, but these precautions might give you a better chance.

I agree with the other guys. You could be letting yourself in for plenty of heart ache.
Might be best to go with just one of those species.
