Clout replacement for bloat treatment?

Hi everyone
I`m starting my Tropheus tank after 10 years of break to aquarium hobby. When I had Tropheus 2000-2010 I haven`t lost a single fish to bloat but I used clout many times as well as soaking food in Metro. Metro is still available but unless it is the early stage while they are eating it is a hit and miss and hardly effective when you treat the tank.

My biggest weapons were clout and Furan 2 if clout doesn`t work.
Before I started I wanted to make sure meds are available and shocked I can`t find either of them.

I`ve been researching every forum and article last few days;
Ingredients for clout was: malachite green, trichlorfon and metronidazole
Furan 2 was actually a formulation of both Nitrofurazone and Doxycycline

What do you guys successfully use as a Clout or Furan 2 replacement that you can say works 100% or close?

Welcome to Cichlid-forum!

Metronidazole. I have not used clout or furan 2 in many years.

Thank you, It`s good to be back :)
Unfortunately metro is only good on early stages when they are eating or in main tank to slow / prevent the spread plus it is not absorbed by skin.

I need a shotgun treatment. Best thing with clout was it would cure the fish in mid to late stages too.
I have had luck with metro at all stages. FWIW.
