Last saturday I changed from gravel to pfs in my tank. Ever since monday my gt has had a cloudy eye. I took my water to lfs to get tested they said my water was fine. I have started treating with melafix, per there suggestion. I do 30% water changes every saturday. I am just looking for any suggestions on how to treat this. Or possibly reasurance that im doing the correct thing. I never have gotten anything but the ich in any of my tanks for years. So this was new to me. Thanks for your time.

your doing the right steps so far. keep up on the clean water and a close eye on him. wanna make sure hes still eating well through all this. maybe consider adding a small amount of aquarium salt as well with the water changes.

I had an Oscar with a cloudy eye and Melafix cleared it right up. you're on the right track, give it a few days and it should clear up.
