I purchased a used 120g and am getting it ready for setup. First I am going to give it a good cleaning with white vinegar and water. Thanks to those on here for that tip. I am wondering what to use to scrub the tank with. Is a scotch brite pad to course to use? Plastic pot scrubbers? What do you recommend? Thanks

its hard to scratch glass unless u used a razor blade, i used a very corse sponge pad, im sure any kind of pad is ok, as long as its not metal wires

I use the non-scratch pads that you can find at any dollar store - that just my personal preferance at being overly cautious.

Scotch bite will scratch the glass! I tried this on a old piece of glass and it scratched it all up.

Old glass scratches more than newer glass, so i would be careful. I just used some filter wool with lemon juice and water, worked a treat and no scratches.
