How effective are chillers? And which would be best? Right now the heat is unbearable. Even during the winter my tanks were kept without heaters. Now, my temps are rising need to cool them off......

Depends on the size of the chiller you purchase. The specs for each chiller would give you that info.

yea they give you the info. but realistily how often a 500 watt chiller going to come on to drop the temp in my tank? and for about how long will it stay on? i realize their are a lot of varaibles. but are we talking 6 dollars a months $15, $20 $25?

would i be better off have my ac on full blast?
