Hi All
To cut a long story short I need to move some juvie multies from a small heavily planted tank to their new species tank any time I go near the tank with a net they disappear. So any advice on traps ect would be much appreciated

If they dissopear into shells then the answer is simple. Lift em out in the shells being careful not to let any air in.

If you want to separate them from the shells to sell a few or give away.
Pop the shells into a an orange net (or string bag or anything similar with big mesh) in a small bare tank (with mature sponge filter) and hang it up high.
They do not like being high so they leave the shells in a few hours or days and congrigate at the tank bottom.

You can then easily net them and bag em up. :thumb:

All the best James

Lol that would be the logical answer less stressful for me and the fish, as they are under 1/2" still and seem happy I hadnt bothered getting shells for them yet. So 36 shells on order, that should cover it.

Thanks

Ollie
