I've had them mixed for four years now in a 6x2x2. They've done fine, juli's have multiplied from about 8 to over 20. I also have caudopunks and calvus in the tank as well. All together from first setup.

I would agree, just keep enough tight spaces for the Julies to use for raising the little ones. I found that any other fish in the tank seemed to inhibit the Trophs breeding.

Thanks guys for the help......do you think a 75 gallon tank is good enough for 20 tropheus and 2 Julies..???

It could work, but, I have alway prefered 6ft tanks for tropheus colonies, I never had any luck with breeding in 4ft tanks.
