Has anyone tried this combination?
I prefer the leleupi over the yellow lab.

Suppose it is possible, they actually are both kinda jerks as fish to their own species. They would ignore each other except for territory I would think.

Leleupi are kinda overrated, they are not all that exciting. I would stick with Yellow Labs.

I think you probably could get away with it. Demasoni are normally aggressive to each other and leave other fish alone....unless you are talking fish that look like demasoni like male saulosi.
Same can be said about leleupi for the most part. They can get aggressive with other fish when spawning though. But, with such a good color contrast it might be worth the shot.
