Is there a way to tell what color they will be before they show it

What do you mean? OBs should be orange blotched (hence the initials) but otherwise, they can very quite a bit. What is it you are trying to figure out?

The guy at my local fish store has a 250 gallon with ob peacocks and he said you cant tell. all his very from yellow and orange to white and blue and they are ob peacocks, the tank is right when you walk in so i was wondering my little ob who is white with black bloches will be some cool color and are there any signes that i could tell if he wil be a certiant color

Unfortunately, you can't tell... you can make guesses, but only time will tell if you have a stunner or a dud. :thumb:

My male started out as a yellow and white, he is now orange blue and white.
