I have 4, 3/4-1" C. moori that I am growing out and are currently in a divided section in my 125. Would it be posible to move them to my 46 gallon planted tank to grow out? The tank is heavily planted with sand substrate and houses 2 angel fish, 9 pristella tetra, 2 cardinal tetra, 1 pepper cory, 5 cherry barbs, bushynose pleco, and 4 amano shrimp.

As long as the pH of the 46 isn't too low, I don't see problems with it. The angels might give them a hard time at first (and if they can fit in their mouths!). They're slow-growers, too, so you'll be set for a while with them.

I don't see any major problem to trying it. They are from a pretty rough and ready group that comes out ready to take it. At some point they will be ready to start digging into that sand and may become a problem with uprooting plant roots but that is a "maybe someday" that you can deal with at the time.
