I have a 20 gallon tank with Dempsey fry.Tank also has gravel and I am looking for a fish to help clean the tank.Thinking about getting a couple of very small corydora's.Fry are 1/4 inch in size and I change 50% water every other day. It's very hard to gravel vac with these little guys all over the place.Any Ideas?

are you sure you want the fry? Most any fish will eat fry. Best thing if you really do want to keep them, is to just remove the substrate, then you dont have to dig to clean.

I would remove the gravel, but I'm afraid I will lose my bio filter at this time. It's happened to me before. But I do see some uneaten specks of decapsulated brine shrimp on the gravel.Thats what I'm worried about.

Ok,just tested water in my fry tank.PH 6.8,trace amounts of ammonia(I know, bad thing),0 nitrites, almost 40 nitrates(I know, bad thing).Just changed the water.Brought the nitrates down some, but didnt do much for the ammonia.Looks like I will be removing my gravel.
