I have never kept bocourti . I'd like to house the two fo them together as well . However I have seen tat bocourti tend to be more aggressive than the pearsei . I hav read that they are not a very good combo either. On the other hand I have heard of some people haivng no issues at all with mixing the two . Tank size seems to be the determining factor , most of the folks that I've heard of /read about mixing them well have had them in 300 gallon and larger tanks
