Hi. I am just putting together various scenarios to see which fish are compatible.

I have a 48inch 64 gallon tank and would like to have:

A pair of keyhole cichlids
A pair of cryptoheros nanoluteus
A group of platy's
Possibly 6 dwarf rainbow fish

Would there be enough room in this community for 1 blue or gold gourami

or perhaps I could put in a third keyhole cichlid?

I know Gourami's can be quite territorial, so maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Anyway, any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, I would probably skip the blue or gold gourami
which are color variants of the original Three spot gourami. Individual specimens, especially males, are often fairly aggressive. You would be better off with the Pearl Gourami but I would advise against keeping a single specimens as they are quite shy. If you were able to find a sexed pair that would work or a group of at least 4. Two males would most likely fight with each other. Have you thought about any Cory cats or Loaches for the bottom of the tank?
