I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 black belts in it. I would like to add some other colorful/active fish to the tank to make it more fun to watch....and i'm not a huge fan of Danios. Does anyone have any suggestions for me on what might be compatible ?

Well, unfortunately nothing's going to work, you've got yourself some eventual tank busters... Which will become cramped in a short amount of time.
