Need help - cleaned my filter yesterday - penguin bio wheel 350 - replaced the filter pads - cleansed the wheels and put them back on - and they are not spinning any more ? plenty of water hitting them but they will not move :-? help ? any ideas ?

Water is still getting filtered thru the pads but the bio wheels are useless now - what did I do wrong ?

I agree. I use cotton swabs to wipe out the little U-shaped pieces that hold up the Bio-wheel. Also make sure your impeller is seated all the way down. I've had it happen where it seemed that there was plenty of water flow but no bio-wheel movement. Just push down (gently) on the intake tube to ensure the impeller is all the way in. if this doesn't work, make sure you're intake tube is put together properly and that there isn't any built up sludge in the tube. These filters are pretty temperamental and it doesn't take much for them to stop flowing correctly. HTH :thumb:
