I'm fairly convinced that there's a persistent but minor internal parasite in my mbuna tank. The fish are all eating whatever I give them but I can't seem to outrace the sunken bellies. If they miss a day of food it really gets noticeable. I haven't had any deaths or anything but I am starting to worry. The poops are mostly still green so it's nothing severe, but there's no reason they should be this concave (though they are quite old at this point - nearing 5).

I have a cabinet of just about every kind of de-wormer and parasite med imaginable (I keep Discus) but am not sure what's good for these fish (nor am I ever sure which are for internal and which for external - luckily I haven't had to learn this the hard way with the Discus yet). I'm not a big med doser so I prefer to start light. Should I just give Metro a shot first?

I would use metronidazole on mbuna for an internal parasite, yes.
