I have a black convict w/ fry...the fry are approx. 4 weeks old.
The male killed the female :( .....(why I don't know...they both were taking care of the kids)and has been a really good daddy so far.
when should I remove the fry before he decides to axe them too?
Thx

If there isn't another mate he may let them grow for a bit longer than normal - but will likely start to kill off any males in the batch.

I'd remove them at about 2 weeks after the free swimming stage - just syphon them using airline tubing into a bucket and put them into their own tank.
