I want a black background on my 75 gallon. I know painting is the best to some but its out of the question because the tank is already in place and has 200 pounds of sand in it so I can't get to the back well enough to paint. SO what do you suggest is the best thing to use???

 

[Hoosier Tank]

I used black "project Board" from Walmart. It is more sturdy than posterboard and has a thin foam core between two pieces of black plasticoated cardstock. It is sold in the school supplies and is for making displays like science fair projects. Has held up great with my HOB filter use.

you could use black plastic background that u can get from most lfs or pet shops its just thin plastic paper i have it on my 75 gal
