I have about 5 yellow lab fry that are surviving in my main tank, they are different sizes from 2 different moms. My question is, how big do they have to be to swim with the adults and not get eaten and will they know when that time is. Thanks

They have to be large enough to NOT fit in the adults mouths.
And, yes, they will know when it's okay...But that doesn't mean they won't get eaten before then. :wink:
