I'm wanting to add another filter to my 75 Gallon mbuna tank. Currently I have a marineland C-360 on it but I was thinking about adding either an xp3 or xp4 but i only have 26" between the bottom of my stand to the glass under my tank.
For all those who have those two filters, do you know about how high your hoses stick up abover the canister? I have seen one place that said the xp4 would take 26" how accurate is this?

26" is tight for an xp-4, but it can be done. another 2" would be handy to lift the valve off (in closed position) for removal/cleaning of the can. i've got two xp-4, and quite a few more xp-3, and unless your a media junkie, the xp-3 is the better value, IMO. HTH.

8) Agree w/ lloyd. That's gonna be awful tight. You don't want rountine maint. to be a major PITA. XP3 addition will suit your setup just fine. "T"
