I just bought a 29 gal tank. I'm using an Aquaclear 30. Problem is that the intake tube isn't that low. It's pretty high up on the tank.

I know i can buy the extension for it but the extension is the bottom part.

I need the middle piece. Anyone know where I can get? or if I can make?

You dont need to have the extension. It doesnt have to be at the bottom of the tank. Check out your local petsmart or petco. they might carry it. Otherwise order it from the web.

I have an AC110 and I use two extensions. Each extension has a strainer which surprised me, but they attach properly and work well.
