I have a breeding pair of Apistos in my angel/ram tank and they get along fine. Just be sure to have caves and hiding places for the apistos. My rams occasionally chase the apistos around but no real fighting, in a tank that size you should be fine. :fish:
Apistos and rams?
I have a 55 gallon planted tank that is home to a pair of longfin rams. I'm thinking of getting some apistos, such as a. bitaeniata. The tank also houses a small betta sorority (5), one male betta, 7 platies, and 3 amano shrimp.
Will the apistos get along okay with the tank or do they not enjoy planted or being put with rams.
