What the difference in sea salt sold at walmart (evaporated) with no idione and the evaporated sea salt sold at the pet shops?

Probably just the price but I'd read the ingredient labels of both to be sure of what you're getting.

If you're looking for cheep sodium chloride then go to the grocery store and get some kosher pickling salt. Its just a few dollars of a large box.

I am treating for ICH and using Sea Salt from grocer. It is pricey though. Rock salt I have only found in larger pieces and not grandular.

Thanks for the help, will salt alone to treat ich work with loachs, I have a new strain of ick
that is med resistance, the local fish place had the same problem a while back never had this much trouble with ick, use to be easy to get rid off, how does salt work with loachs, can they take much salt? does it matter what kind of salt is used seasalt tablesalt etc?
