[Nitroball]

I have a 100 gallon tank with various cichlids also a 30 gallon tank with various cichlids. I also have a 4 gallon that i use for breeding. About 4 months ago my female had babies and i put a divider in the 100 gallon for the babies. My female is holding again so she is now in the 4 gallon tank. I just found another female in my 30 gallon tank holding eggs. Can I put the two females together in the 4 gallon tank or should i just take a chance with her in the 30 gallon with 5 other males? all fish are medium to large (except the 4 month old juviniles). Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't put two adult cichlids in a 4 gallon tank, just too small. You could purchase a mesh breeder trap, and put the second female in that.

I just purchased a 6 1/2" by 4 1/2" net for breeding. I have never used a net before. So you put the fish in the net and that is it? do you add any hiding places? i don't know if that is possible. does the net attach to the top of the tank or does it go down to the bottom. i am sure that i could do a search and find out more info. but once again any input would be appreciated.
