Can't find squat on these guys through Google - wondering if anyone here has experience with them.

Particularly if they'd be compatible with some Geophagus Tapajos Orange Heads (an 8" male) and well...just about anything else about them.

This fish is found in Mexico and Guatemala (not South America). The Jan 2005 issue of Cichlid News has a nice article on this fish. There is a nice profile here:

Ah, thanks for the link. I'm going to take a wild shot in the dark that it's temprement would be way too severe for geophagus to handle.
