Comments:
A true omnivore, that will do best on a highly varied, quality diet of vegetable based and meaty foods. A rarer, less commonly found cichlid in the aquarium trade. Known to be a bit less aggressive in the aquarium, at least by the robust nature of Central American standards! Compatible/established, adult pairs of this species are best kept in 6 foot tanks for long-term success.
