This algae in my tank is as described-
.On a flat surface it grows to form a 3D half circle
.A tiny and I mean tiny solid circle holds it to a surface that is growing on
.It's a blueish green color
.Finaly it grows and spreads without warning.

What is it and how do you get rid of it with out changing light time?
Thanks.

picture?

Otherwise, getting rid of it either means starving it (no lights - you said not an option, and reducing the available nutrients) or having it eaten or otherwise physically removed. Scrubbing helps. Algae eaters are also usefull.
