I've got a Aulonocara maulana thats about 4-4.5 inches im not sure. I added him and a eureka about the same size at the same time. The Eureka is doing just fine but my Maulana is getting picked on quit a bit and is hiding in the corners of the tank. I was tryin to single out the culprit but it looks like nobody really likes him. I changed the layout of the rocks and that hasnt helped. I would rather not get rid of him but im not sure what to do. one german red, the red shoulder and one of my baenschi are the aggressors the rest dont care.

my stock list is as follows

2xGerman red
2xBaenschi
1xmaulana
1xred shoulder
1xlwanda
1xmaylandi
1xngara
1xeureka

So... this is all normal. I assume that these are all males? All male tanks are trial and error. There is no easy or perfect mix. These males are all similar, and may have issues of dominance.

What to do? Your guess is as good as any other. Remove a trouble maker, or remove the Maulana. Which fish do you like better?
