Hi everyone, I just recently bought a very beautiful pair of Agassizi's (they better be beautiful for what we paid for them)! They are in QT right now and are going to be added to our 46 gallon bowfront with other community fish. I am hoping they will breed in there, as our pair of blue rams have been doing regularly. It is a little hard to find breeding info on these guys, do they also clean off flat rocks to lay their eggs on like blue rams do? Do the eggs need to hatch out in very soft water to survive? Our water is medium hard and pH 7.1, with the blue rams I take the eggs out and hatch them in RO water and feed them microworms as a first meal, is this a good plan for the agassizi? Any other tips on keeping them happy and healthy?
Thanks!

Eggs aren't as hard to hatch as blue ram but may still need some RO water, give it a few runs first before removing.

They like to lay in caves, usually on the top of the inside of flower pots, or caves ect...
