After a certain time period will the mother eat her fry?

My albino eureka red fry are about four months old now and I am going to set up a 10gal fry tank so I can take them out of the isolation box and get these suckers growing. My question is the mother has been getting harassed by the male and her fins are taking a beating would it be safe for her to go into the 10 gal with her fry or would she try and kill them??
