If you keep two pairs of the fish you have in a 29G for several months, you risk having the females killed. Unless they are like 1/2 inch long now?
I would not add more fish since it's a 29G. But if you want to keep as many of the fish you have as possible, then I would trade in the two males and get two more females. Four small females in a 29G for 3 months might be doable. Might.
