So I finally a good deal on a group of 6 Acei that are about 2.5 inches. Do you think this would work with the Dems already being in the tank with established territories?

My plan would be to go sell some of my labs to get down to about 8, keep all my Demasoni, and then have the Acei.

Does anyone see any problems with this plan? Also this will prob the only other species I add to this tank for quite sometime.

sounds ok. my acei r just big eatting machines. they dont seem to even concern themselves with squabbles. so long as they eat lol. i dont imagine any trouble. only thing that may be of concern is those demasonis.

I've added species to a mature demasoni tank...no problem.

You should be just fine with the stocking list you have. I would be sure to quarantine them in a separate tank for 12 days or so, especially if you're getting them at the LFS. I've introduced parasites by accident into an established tank . I've had much better luck ordering my fish online from breeders who don't accept fish from random folks thereby spreading disease.
