I bot a used 55 gallon acrylic. How does one clean the inevitable algae without scratching the acrylic? I understand it needs to be evenly and well supported as it will bend. Any other special setup tips? Any recommendations for highrise caves to help utilize the vertical space?

be careful with a magfloat, or any other magnetic algea scraper...

If you have any of your substrate trapped in the magnet, it will destroy an acrylic tank.

why not use a piece of washcloth that is a bit rough, or a cutout piece of a tshirt and just wipe them off the glass. i doubt a piece of cotton fabric would scratch the acryl.
