Hey everyone,

I have been working away on my 3D background for my new 220G. The texturing isn't to my liking and since I am using drylok and not concrete there won't be that added texture. I was thinking, since acetone "melts" styrofoam, I would splat, mist, drip acetone randomly to create some nice random textures. Has anyone tried this? Would it be safe for fish after fully cured?

I think if you had a small tank maybe a 5 gallon or 10 gallon you could experiment with it to ensure "fish safe" maybe get some feeder goldfish (sorry if that sounds barbaric) but better you know now than later.

Also expanding foam "great stuff" pond and stone might help give you background some additional texture.
Check amazon it like 11 bucks a can
