An assumed male (aggression and a little more colorful and larger) was shaking his tail around a rock space. Is he trying to breed? or just fritzing out on me? they all are around 2.5-3 inches...is he just reaching maturity? aggression has just started with the two assumed males. (they flare at eachother and stay at opposite sides unless feeding. seems like they have their own territories.

tank- 55 gallon, 6 acei, and some juvie yellow labs 1.5 inches approx.

Well, it turns out it was breeding behavior.

I just "walked in" on two under rock in a pit...and *** seen videos on acei spawning and it looks **** like it!

WHOOT! I think they spawned!

A famale is not eating any food, and her lower jaw is puffed up, and the liitle pouch is whitish in color. in her mouth it looks like mini-BBs that are light salmon maybe I can only see three or so in her mouth from just indirectly looking in. I cant take pictures well, but it kinda shows it.

Is she holding? or am I crazy?

She seems to be puffing in and out her mouth...

like a frog.

So this means she is holding I guess.
