Hi I was wondering whether my 13cm heceklii could live with some 3~4cm wrestling halfbeaks, Demogenys pusillus. Or if they are too small, whether if they could be combinded during some point in their lives when both are full grown.

I hope somebody could answer me quick because the halfbeaks are on sale, and I have to make a quick desicion.....

They should be alright for a while ... heckelii have small mouths for their size ... BUT you never know, if it were me I wouldn't attempt it personally.

I wouldn't trust the heckelli not to eat the halfbeaks.

Also, shouldn't the halfbeaks be in water with some (sea) salt. The heckelli definitely shouldn't be.

Set up a 10g dedicated to the halfbeaks.
